It got me thinking, what would the book tour for The Samurai Poet look like? I see Ken Watanabe (The Last Samurai) as Ishikawa Jozan, Naoto Takenaka (Shall We Dance?) as his jealous friend Hayashi Razan, and greatest sumo wrestler of his generation, yokozuna Asashoryu, as the Shogun, Tokugawa Ieyasu (try to picture him with aging make up added). Even though there’s no love interest in the novel, having Jessica Alba play one on the tour would likely be a shrewd move to expand the demographic appeal of the novel.

Great link. Looks like I picked the wrong Jessica.
